An instant easy dish prepared from cempedak,rice four & plain flour. this is an exotic fruit called Cempedak. It’s popular in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia. The size of the Cempedak fruit is much smaller than the more well known Jackfruit. The texture of the Cempedak flesh is soft, sweet, and has a strong aroma. They can be eaten fresh; but, they tastes much better in fritters. Deep-fried Cempedak Fritters are commonly sold in the streets of Malaysia.

Ingredients for Fried Cempedak Recipe

  • 20 piece Cempedak
  • 60 gram rice flour
  • 10 gram corn flour
  • 100 gram plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • As required Peanut oil
  • 1/2 cup melted gula melaka

Directions: Fried Cempedak Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl and add rice flour,corn flour,plain flour,salt, turmeric powder.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Then add water little by little and make a thick batter.

step 4

  • STEP 3.1. In a pan,add oil and heat it

step 5

  • STEP 4.2. Then dip the cempedak in the batter and place it gently in the pan

step 6

  • STEP 5.3. Now ry the cempedak until it turns golden brown.

step 7

  • STEP 6.4. Lastly,garnish with melted gula melaka and serve
