Ingredients for Fresh peas upma Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Rawa
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tbsp Fresh grated coconut
  • 1/2 tsp chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp Tamarind paste
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • as required Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Urad Dal
  • 1/2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh peas
  • 0.13 cup Chopped onion
  • 0.13 cup Chopped tomato
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin powder

Directions: Fresh Peas Upma Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan.
  • STEP 2.Add onion , tomato , fresh peas & little salt n turmeric.
  • STEP 3.Saute for a while.
  • STEP 4.Sprinkle little water..cover & cook for 2-3 min.
  • STEP 5.Add all spice powders..give a mix..turn off flame ..keep aside.
  • STEP 6.In another pan heat ghee.
  • STEP 7.Add urad dal, mustard & broken dry chilli.
  • STEP 8.Add curry leaves as mustard crackle.
  • STEP 9.Add rawa & ginger...fry on low flame till rawa changes colour.
  • STEP 10.Meanwhile heat 2½ to 3 cups water in a saucepan.
  • STEP 11.Once rawa is fried add sauteed veggies, tamarind paste, salt, sugar & boiling hot water.
  • STEP 12.Give a stir..cover & cook till water is absorbed.
  • STEP 13.Add coconut & cilantro ..mix well.
  • STEP 14.Serve hot.
