Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the foxtail millet for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, green chilies, and ginger. Saute until onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped vegetables like carrots, peas, and beans. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Drain the soaked millet and add it to the pan. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add water, salt, and turmeric powder. Cover and cook until the millet is soft and cooked.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
