Ingredients for Focaccia bread Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Warm water
  • 1/2 cups maida
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Yeast
  • 1/4 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flanks
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 2.50 Pieces Olives
  • As Required Capsicums
  • As Required Onions
  • As Required Coriander

Directions: Focaccia Bread Recipe

  • STEP 1.Combine the yeast , sugar and 1 cup of warm water in bowl, mix well and cover it with lid and keep aside for 15 minutes
  • STEP 2.Combine the maida , oil, red chili, oregano, salt, yeast - sugar mixture, mix well and kned it into soft dough using enough warm water
  • STEP 3.Transfer the dough on a clean dry surface and knead it well till smooth
  • STEP 4.Grease a bowl with oli and place the dough in it and cover it with a cling wrap
  • STEP 5.Place the dough in warm place for 40 minutes
  • STEP 6.Remove wrap and knead it again in the bowl till smooth
  • STEP 7.Grease an aluminum tin with oil and place dough over it and spread it using your fingers and creating depressions with finger tips
  • STEP 8.Pour 2 tsp of oil over it , sprinkler olives, oregano, red chili flanks, design with onion , capsicum press it lightly
  • STEP 9.Bake in a pre heated ovean at 200c for 15 minutes
  • STEP 10.Cool and demould it , enjoy focaccia bread
