Ingredients for Flaky Pinewheel Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 0.03 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp 1 Tsp
  • as required Cold water
  • 0.13 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • 1/4 Pieces chopped onions
  • 1/2 Tsp rated ginger
  • As Required For Ganishing chopped green chilli
  • As Required Chopped coriander leaves
  • As Required salt as per taste

Directions: Flaky Pinewheel Recipe

  • STEP 1.First make a dough for the puff pastry for this in a mixing bowl whole wheat flour flour ,salt,butter 1 tbsp mix everything together then slowly add cold water to make a soft and smooth dough cover it and keep it aside then in another mixing bowl grate the butter add 1 lemon juice,salt and flour mix well keep it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes then
  • STEP 2.take the dough sprinkle with whole wheat flour on the counter again knead it for few seconds,now using a rolling pin roll it into a rectangular shape,now put the prepared butter into the flat rectangular sheet slightly press the butter then fold the pastry from 4 sides,
  • STEP 3.then wrap it with cling wrap put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes after every 15 minutes take out the pastry from the refrigerator and repeat the steps (roll and fold ) for 6 times then again refrigerate ,after that flatten the dough again in rectangular shape ,cut it into length wise ,roll it into thin sheet as required
  • STEP 4.Now for the stuffing
  • STEP 5.Heat a Kadhai add ghee when it melts add panchforan then add chopped onions sauté for few minutes then add grated ginger , green chillies sauté for few minutes then add turmeric powder mix it ,
  • STEP 6.Now add boiled mashed potatoes add Maggi masala e magic mix it completely, finely add chopped coriander leaves, turn off the heat
  • STEP 7.Let the mixture cool down completely
  • STEP 8.Now assemble everything
  • STEP 9.Take a sheet roll it into thin like chapati spread the potato Maggi masala e magic mixture in it , now from one end starts rolling it very gently roll tight till the end seal the edges with water , once keep it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes then take it out cut it into bite pieces brush it with milk , bake it in a preheated oven at 356 degree Fahrenheit until golden in colour.
