Ingredients for Five Spice Chicken Recipe

  • 2 Nos chicken legs
  • 1 Nos garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon five spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Steps To Prepare

  • STEP 1.For the marinade- mix minced garlic, sesame oil, five spice powder, white pepper, sugar, sweet soy sauce and light soy sauce.
  • STEP 2.Now, coat the chicken legs with the marinade and keep it for 30 mins and best if kept overnight in refrigerator.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Add oil to a pan & heat it.
  • STEP 2.Now place the marinated chicken in the pan. Cover the pan and cook the chicken and flip after 5 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Then cook it for another 5 minutes with a lid on.
  • STEP 4.After a few minutes of cooking add the marinade into the pan & saute until the chicken turns soft & tender.
