  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • as needed A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • as needed Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and tamarind pulp. Cook until the raw smell disappears.
  • STEP 5.Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Add the fried fish and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
