  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1.75 Ed Red Chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Peppercorns
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 piece Small E Of Tamarind
  • 0.13 cup Grated Coconut

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Grind together the spices, tamarind, and coconut to make a paste.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 4.In the same pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add the ground paste and cook until the oil separates.
  • STEP 6.Add water, salt, and the fried fish. Simmer until the fish is cooked and the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or neer dosa.
