  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tamarind Paste
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves, For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish pieces with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add onions, ginger, and garlic. Saute until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add the spices - coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Pour in the coconut milk and tamarind paste. Stir well.
  • STEP 6.Add water and bring the curry to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Gently add the fried fish pieces to the curry. Cook for another 5 minutes.
