Fattoush is a Levantine salad made from toasted or fried pieces of khubz (Arabic flat bread) combined with mixed greens and other vegetables, such as radishes and tomatoes. Fattoush Salad makes a frequent appearance on the Middle Eastern dinner table. A simple chopped salad dressed in a zesty lime vinaigrette. Homemade pita chips serve as croutons.

Ingredients for Fattoush Recipe

  • 1 Small Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 Medium Red Onion
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes
  • 3 Medium Cucumbers
  • 3 ounce Olives
  • 1/2 bunch Italian Parsley
  • 1/4 bunch Mint leaves
  • 1/2 bunch Radish
  • 1 Pita Bread
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • As required Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
  • As required Sumac, Salt, Black Pepper Powder, Dried Basil
  • 3/4 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Tahini
  • 0.33 Lemon
  • 1/4 bunch Dill

Directions: Fattoush Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Start by toasting the pita bread.

  • STEP 2.In a giant bowl, mince and mix the cos lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, parsley, mint leaves, radishes.

  • STEP 3.In a smaller bowl, combine oil, urban center mustard, vino vinegar, salt, and black pepper powder and blend well.

  • STEP 4.Add the vinegar mixture to the massive bowl and blend well.

  • STEP 5.Break the cooked flatbread bread and boost the bowl and blend.

step 6

  • STEP 6.Sauce in a little bowl, mix the yogurt, tahini, juice (squeeze 1/3 of a recent lemon), salt, black pepper powder.

  • STEP 7.Mince one ounce (28 g) of recent dill and boost the yogurt sauce and stir well.

step 8

  • STEP 8.When serving, sprinkle sumac, dried basil, and therefore the yogurt sauce and luxuriate in.
