Ingredients for Faluda Recipe

  • 1 cups Chilled Milk
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp basil seeds (sabja seeds)
  • As required ½ cup falooda sev (vermicelli)
  • 1 tbsp Rose syrup
  • 1/2 nos scoop vanilla or kesar pista ice cream
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped dry fruits (almonds

  • As required cashews)
  • 1/2 tbsp tutti frutti (optional)
  • As required chocolate syrup ( optional)

Directions: Faluda Recipe

  • STEP 1.Prepare Basil Seeds:Soak basil seeds in ½ cup water for 10-15 minutes until they swell up.
  • STEP 2.Cook Falooda Sev:Boil water in a pan, add falooda sev, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • STEP 3.Prepare Milk Mixture:Mix chilled milk with sugar and rose syrup. Stir well until sugar dissolves.
  • STEP 4.Assemble the Falooda:In a tall glass, add soaked basil seeds at the bottom.Next, add the cooked falooda sev.Pour the flavored milk over it.Add a scoop of ice cream on top.Garnish with chopped dry fruits and tutti frutti.Drizzle some extra rose syrup on top and serve chilled.
