Fakya of Achoura, a mix of dried fruits and unique crunchy cookies. A Moroccan snack that is made from sesame seeds, anise seeds, and a lot of dry fruits.
As required Dried Fruit: dates, figs, raw almonds, raisins, walnuts, dried apricots, etc

STEP 1.Roast the almonds and sesame seeds on medium flame, in a pan for 10 minutes keep stirring them occasionally and prevent it from burning (note roast the almonds and sesame seeds separately.

STEP 2.Once the almonds are well roasted, grind them in a grinder until you obtain a powder texture.

STEP 3.In a large mixing bowl, mix the ingredients flour, sugar, almond powder, sesame seeds, anise seeds, baking powder, and salt.

STEP 4.Integrate the orange blossom water, vegetable oil, and eggs into the dry mixture, and knead the dough until you get a flexible dough that you can roll into a ball.

STEP 5.Take a little portion of the dough and roll it in a ball. On the place, you will be working, roll the dough into a long and thin cylinder.

STEP 6.Using scissors (or sharp knife), cut small pieces of the dough directly into a baking pan covered on parchment paper.

STEP 1.Preheat your oven to 360 f degrees. Bake the cookies for 20 minutes or until golden brown, when the cookies are still hot they may seem soft, but as they cool down they will eventually become crunchy.

STEP 7.Mix the cookies with the dried fruits and serve in a bowl with moroccan mint tea also you can store it for a month in an airtight container.
