  • 0.33 pound Green tomatillos husks removed and rinsed
  • 0.33 Cloves Garlic
  • 0.33 Serrano chiles
  • 0.17 cup Cilantro Leaves
  • 1/25 cup White onion roughly chopped
  • 0.17 teaspoon Kosher or sea salt more or less to taste
  • 0.17 tablespoon Safflower or corn oil
  • 0.33 cup Shredded cooked chicken home cooked or rotisserie works great
  • As required Oil for frying the tortillas
  • 2 Corn Tortillas
  • 0.08 cup Mexican style cream can substitute for heavy cream
  • 0.08 cup Crumbled queso fresco farmers cheese, cotija or mild feta
  • 0.06 cup White onion chopped, for garnish
