Ela ada is an awesome and a very traditional delicacy of kerala. This is a very easy, yummy & a healthy snack that can be prepared in minutes. In this recipe, the rice flour paste is patted on the banana leaf & jaggery & coconut mixture is sprinkled on it & closed & steamed in a steamer or on idly moulds. My mom has been following this recipe for more than 30 years. She has learnt it from her mom & she makes it just the way our ancestors do it. Try it out & see how it melts in your mouth.
