How to Make Eggless Apple Almond Cake Recipe


1 in a large mixing bowl add 3 cups of all purpose flour (maida), ½ tsp salt, 1 ½ tsp baking powder, 1 ½ cup castor sugar , ½ tsp cinnamon powder (optional). Stir all the dry ingredients.


2 next add the wet ingredients, 3 tbsp flax-eggs, 2 tsp vanilla essence, and mix with a ladle till partially combined. Add 1 cup yogurt and mix well till the ingredients combine to give cake batter consistency. Fruit cake batter should be a little thick.


3 next add ½ cup slivered almond, 2 large apples diced. Fold into the batter.


4 grease a baking pan by applying butter generously all over the inside of the pan. Then sprinkle flour all over so that it sticks on the butter on all the sides. Turn the pan over and tap it over the sink to dust out all the excess batter.


5 spoon the batter into the pan and gently spread it out evenly.


6 preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius and bake the cake for 25 upto 40 minutes depending on the oven. Check the cake by inserting a knife or skewer into it. If the knife/ skewer comes out clean without any crumbs stuck to it, the cake is ready.


7 when the cake is ready take it out of the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.


8 before cutting into the cake, run the knife along the sides of the pan to release it from the pan. Place a plate over the pan and invert it to remove the cake from the pan.
