Ingredients for Egg Tart Recipe

  • 9 No.s tart molds
  • As required Tart pastry
  • 200 gram plain flour
  • 75 gram icing sugar
  • 140 gram unsalted butter
  • 1/2 No.s egg
  • As required Egg custard
  • 2 No.s beaten eggs
  • 50 gram Sugar
  • 150 milliliter Water
  • 50 milliliter Milk

Directions: Egg Tart Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.First boil the sugar in water to dissolve it, then add the milk and let cool. Add two beaten eggs and stir well, sieve out the solids to make the egg mixture smoother.

  • STEP 1.The flour and sugar powder sieve well, mix, then add butter, rub evenly, after addition of half an egg pulp, knead dough.

  • STEP 1.Put the dough on plastic wrap, flatten it, wrap it and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Make the dough hard. Spread it on plastic wrap and roll it to a thickness of 6 mm. Press the dough with an eight-centimeter diameter round mold.

  • STEP 1.Place the dough on a seven-centimeter egg tart mold. Coat your hands with flour and gently press out the dough to form an edge, about one to two millimeters high, to make the tart easy to demould. Then put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to form. The rear, stir egg mixture was poured into tart skin.

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven at 180 degrees celsius for 15 minutes, and bake for 20-25 minutes. When the tart rim turns golden yellow, lower the temperature to 160 degrees celsius.

  • STEP 1.Take it out after twenty-five minutes, the egg paste has solidified. The egg tarts can be taken out of the tart mold after seven minutes of cooling.
