  • 240 gram Bengali gram
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • None Ghee
  • 5 gram Chopped ginger
  • 5 gram Chopped garlic
  • 2 Chopped green chilies
  • 100 gram Chopped onions
  • 25 gram Diced tomato
  • 6 gram chopped Coriander leaves
  • As required Crushed Kasuri methi
  • As required Mustard oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • As required Kasuri methi

How to Make Egg Tadka Recipe

STEP 01

Wash and soak the dal overnight

STEP 02

Heat a pan and add ghee with mustard oil. Fry the chopped onions until golden

STEP 03

Add the chopped ginger. Add garlic and green chilies , fry for 30 second

STEP 04

Add cumin powder.coriander powder,turmeric, kashmiri red chili powder and garam masala

STEP 05

Add the tomatoes, salt and mix well. Now add in your dals, water and transfer the mix into a pressure cooker, add some ghee and cook it for 10 minutes.

STEP 06

In a pan heat vegetable oil Add chopped onion, garlic and tomatoes and tadka from the pressure cooker.

STEP 07

Add butter , kasuri methi and coriander leaves. Add in the eggs and cook well.
