Ingredients for Egg Tadka Recipe

  • 100 gram Green moong beans
  • 240 gram Bengali gram
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • None Ghee
  • 5 gram Chopped ginger
  • 5 gram Chopped garlic
  • 2 Chopped green chilies
  • 100 gram Chopped Onions
  • 25 gram Diced Tomato
  • 6 gram chopped Coriander leaves
  • As required Crushed Kasuri methi
  • As required Mustard oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • As required Kasuri methi
  • As required Coriander leaves
  • 4 Nos Eggs large

Directions: Egg Tadka Recipe

Steps To Prepare

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the dal overnight.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add raw eggs. Scramble the eggs and keep them aside for further use.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat a pan and add oil and ghee to it.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions to the pan and saute till they are translucent.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and fry for 30 seconds.
  • STEP 4.Next, add all the spices and mix well to combine.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes along with salt and cook till they are mushy.
  • STEP 6.Next, add the soaked dal and a glass of water and transfer the mix into a pressure cooker. Add a tbsp of ghee and cook for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Cook the tadka in the pressure cooker with the lid on till two whistles.
  • STEP 8.While the tadka is getting cooked, add some oil in another pan along with chopped onions, garlic and tomatoes and fry a minute or two.
  • STEP 9.Once the tadka is cooked, add the scrambled eggs, the prepared tadka along with butter, kasoori methi coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
