Ingredients for Egg - Red Lentil Dhoka Curry Recipe

  • 1/5 cup red lentil
  • 0.40 tbsp fresh chopped corinder
  • 0.80 pieces chopped green chilli
  • 1/5 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/10 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/5 tbsp Salt
  • 0.30 tsp garam masala owder
  • 1/5 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/5 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/5 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.40 Pieces Chopped onion
  • 0.80 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1/10 teaspoon Cumin seed
  • 1/5 Pieces Tomato
  • 0.40 pieces Potatoes
  • 0.40 pieces Bay leaves
  • 0.60 pieces Egg
  • 1/5 pieces Dried red chilli

Directions: Egg - Red Lentil Dhoka Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.wash red lentil thrice.soak for an hour.Now grind.Now add 3 eggs ,finely chopped onion ,finely chopped coriander leaves,finely chopped green chilli,salt according to taste and 1tsp garam masala powder.Mix well.Now take a frying pan,add 3tbsp oil.Heat oil on low flame.
  • STEP 2.Now add the mixture and spread gently.Cover with lid.cook on low medium flame for 5 minutes.Now flip over and press gently.now cook for another 5minutes.Now remove to a plate and cut into pieces.
  • STEP 3.Now take two potatoes and cut into medium pieces.Now take a pan ,add tbsp oil.heat the oil on medium flame.Now add the potatoes,add salt according to taste and pinch of turmeric.Now fry the potatoes till golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Take out the potatoes.Now add one tablespoon oil & heat the oil on medium flame.Add cumin seeds,bay leaves and finely chopped onion.sauté for 2-3 minutes.Now add ginger garlic paste and fry for 3-4 minutes.Add cumin powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder,turmeric,chopped tomatoes ,1/2 tbdp water .Mix well and fry the spices for few minutes on medium flame.

  • STEP 6.boil.Now add the fried potatoes.cook for 3-4 minutes then add fried pieces of egg-lentil .Now cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.Now turn off the flame,add garam masala powder,add chopped coriander leaves and keep aside for five minutes.After five minutes it is ready to serve.
