Ingredients for Egg Ghotala Recipe

  • 8 Eggs
  • 2 Onion
  • 2 Tomato
  • 1 Green chill
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Pav bhaji masala
  • 0.33 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 4 tablespoon Cooking Oil

Directions: Egg Ghotala Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Chop the onions, green chili, and tomatoes. Boil the 5 eggs.

  • STEP 1.In a kadai add 4tsp oil to heat then add 1tsp cumin seeds and green chili, saute them slightly.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Then add the chopped onions and fry them. Once the color starts to change add the ginger-garlic paste.

  • STEP 1.And saute them until their raw smell goes.

  • STEP 1.Now add the chopped tomato and give it a good mix. Cover it with a lid and cook it till the tomatoes soften which approx takes 6mins.

  • STEP 1.Now time to add the spices- turmeric powder-1/2 tsp, red chili powder -1 tsp, and pav bhaji masala -1 tsp. Mix the spices well with curry.

  • STEP 1.Now we will cover it with a lid and let it cook for more 1mins at low flame. Mix it a quick mix after that and keep it on one side of the kadai.

  • STEP 1.On the other side, we will be adding 2 eggs and let it cook slightly till thickens. Meanwhile grate the boil eggs (4 eggs).

  • STEP 1.And now mix all the ingredients together, mix them slightly without putting too much pressure.

  • STEP 1.Now add salt to taste and ⅓ tsp garam masala. Add ¼ cup water and mix it well with the ingredients. Now cover it and let it cook for 1 min.

  • STEP 1.After that lastly, we will add coriander leaves and mix it well. We will add a little twist to the egg ghotala by making space in the center and cracking an egg to make a poach.

  • STEP 1.And cover it for more than 1min at low flame. Your egg ghotala is ready.

  • STEP 1.And serve it hot with paratha or naan.
