This devils are made with half hard boiled eggs, wrapped with chicken keema mixture, dipped in batter,coated with breadcrumbs and then deep fried. Bengali style Egg Devil recipe is a modified version of devilled eggs.This recipe is in close resemblance with Nargisi Kofta that is traditionally made with minced meat coated eggs, rolling in breadcrumbs before deep fry. Serve Bengali style Egg Devil as a party starter.

  • 1 Pieces Hard boiled egg
  • 33.33 g Chicken keema
  • 0.67 Pieces Boiled Potatoes
  • 0.33 Pieces Boiled carrot
  • 0.33 Cup Chopped onions
  • 0.67 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.67 Pieces Dry red chilli
  • 1 Tsp Special masala
  • 0.33 Tsp Mustard oil
  • As Required Refined oil for deep fry
  • To Taste Salt
  • As Required Black pepper powder
  • 0.33 Tbsp Refined flour
  • 0.33 Tsp Corn flour
  • As Required Bread crumbs

Directions: Egg Devil#ChickenRecipes #FEM5K

  • STEP 1.Special masala :-in a bowl add 2 teaspoons roasted coriander powder, 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder,half teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder, half teaspoon garam masala, half teaspoon chaat masala, mix all ingredients nicely.
  • STEP 2.In a Kadai add mustard oil fry dry red chillies for 1 minute.
  • STEP 3.After mix dry chilli with boiled potatoes and carrots... Smashed nicely.
  • STEP 4.Same oil fry onions for 2 minutes, add ginger garlic paste mix and saute for another 1 minute. After that add chicken keema, mix well add very little water, and cook for 5 minutes on low to medium heat.
  • STEP 5.Then add special masala and salt according to your taste. Mix all ingredients nicely and saute for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Now add potato mixture. Mix well and fry on medium heat puntil mixture fully dry.
  • STEP 7.Cool it down.
  • STEP 8.Divide in mixture into 1 and half tablespoon portion and flatten across your palm, place half an egg on it, flat side down. Now mould keema mixture around the egg. Egg devils should ideally be oval, egg shaped.
  • STEP 9.Batter:-in a bowl add refined flour, corn flour,pinch of salt,black pepper powder half teaspoon and half cup water, mix all ingredients nicely and make a fine batter.
  • STEP 10.Take 1 plate for breadcrumbs
  • STEP 11.Dip the egg devil in the batter, and shake of the excess, then roll it in breadcrumbs.
  • STEP 12.Pressing them on, so that they stick to the egg.
  • STEP 13.Repeat the previous step once again dip and roll for the last time.we will double coat the devils to get a crisp crust.
  • STEP 14.Heat refined oil and deep fry the devils on medium heat until they are evenly brown on all sides.
  • STEP 15.Serve hot with mango kasundi, tomato sauce, onion rings and cucumber.
