 Here are another favorite and popular street food, Mutta Masala (Egg Bhejo). It is a Burmese street food which is so yummy and very easy to cook. This quick recipe is a special type of egg sandwich prepared with boiled egg stuffed with dsome delecious filling made with garlic, onions and some flavourfuls spices and saices.

  • As required Sliced Onion
  • As required Sliced Garlic
  • 10 Red Chilli Nos
  • As required Boiled Eggs
  • As required Salt Water
  • As required Lemon Water
  • As required Tamarind Water
  • As required Coriander Leaves

Directions: Egg Bhejo Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Boil 4 eggs and then remove their shell and slice the onions and garlic.

  • STEP 1.Heat some oil in a pan and once it becomes hot enough then deep fry some sliced onions until they are crispy and brown along with some garlic. Add some dried red chilies to the pan and cook until they change a little bit in color.

  • STEP 1.Transfer the cooled down red chilies into a mixer-grinder and pulse it a few times to make chili flakes.

  • STEP 1.To a bowl, add the fried garlic and crush it a little bit. Add fried onions and crushed chili flakes. Mix everything well.

  • STEP 1.In separate bowls, take diluted lemon water, tamarind water, the oil used for frying, saltwater, chopped coriander, fried onion/garlic/chili mixture..

  • STEP 1.Assemble your egg bhejo by making a thin cut cut in the middle of the egg halfway through the center and stuffing it up with your filling, Serve it hot and enjoy
