This humble veggie is a delicacy in most of the bengali household. It is a bit time consuming but is worth it, as it tastes simply delicious, especially in the kabab form. This can be relished with any chutney or sauce. Besides, it can be made into various types of dishes too. Today i prepared a traditional bengali recipe of koftas cooked in a gravy form. You can enjoy either with rice or chapati.

- 1/4 small raw jackfruit, chopped and boiled
- 1/4 small sweet potato, chopped and boiled
- 1/2-3/4 tablespoon roasted chickpea flour
- 1/4 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 teaspoon tomato paste
- As required Salt
- 0.06 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted coriander cumin powder
- 0.13 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 0.13 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 tablespoon mustard oil
- As required Tempering
- 1/2 tablespoon mustard oil
- 1/2 bay leaves
- 1/4 stick Cinnamon
- 1/2 green cardamoms
- 1 Cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
- As required Gravy
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1/4 ginger
- 1/2-3/4 garlic cloves
- 1/4 tomato, chopped
- 0.06 cup coriander stems
- 0.13 cup yoghurt, beaten
- 2.50-3 cashewnut
- As required Salt
- 0.13 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted coriander cumin powder
- 0.13 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Ghee
- 1/4 teaspoon coriander leaves, chopped
