Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • STEP 2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onions, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  • STEP 3.Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 4.In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, and salt.
  • STEP 5.Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Layer with lasagna noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  • STEP 6.Cover the lasagna with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • STEP 7.Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with a side salad and garlic bread for a complete meal.
