Cooking Tips

  • If you don't have pumpkin puree, you can substitute it with mashed sweet potato or butternut squash.
  • To make the dumplings ahead of time, you can freeze them on a baking sheet and then transfer them to a freezer bag. Cook them directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.

Storage and Serving

  • Leftover dumplings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat the dumplings, steam them for a few minutes until heated through.
  • Serve the dumplings as an appetizer with a dipping sauce, or as a main course with a side of steamed vegetables or rice.
