  • 1/4 kilogram Chicken Pieces
  • 0.13 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Basmati Rice, Soaked For Minutes
  • 1 cup Water
  • as required Fried Onions, Chopped Cilantro, And Mint Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large pot, heat oil and ghee over medium heat.
  • STEP 2.Add onions and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger, garlic, and spices to the pot and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.
  • STEP 5.Add yogurt, tomatoes, and water to the pot and bring to a simmer.
  • STEP 6.Add soaked basmati rice and gently mix it with the chicken and sauce.
  • STEP 7.Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 20-25 minutes, until the rice is cooked and the flavors are infused.
