Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Add paneer cubes to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and whole spices. Cook until fragrant.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  • STEP 6.Add the marinated paneer cubes along with the marinade and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
