Dum aloo is popularly eaten in north India and it consists of Potatoes but I have added by touch by adding grated paneer to it and without onion and garlic.
Ingredients for Dum Aloo, No onion no garlic Recipe
30 g medium size potatoes
10 g grated Paneer -finely grated
1/2 Sprigs Coriander
A Pinch Pinch of red chilli and salt
As Required Sunflower or ground nut oil
25 g small tomatoes
As Required For Ganishing Cashesnut
As Required Small piece of ginger
1/2 g Green chili as per taste
As Required Pinch of turmeric
1/4 Tsp n chilli powder
1/2 Tsp n coriander powder
To Taste Salt
As Required Jeera
A Pinch of heeng
1/4 Tsp n garam masala
0.13 Tsp n kasoori methi
0.13 Tsp n kashmiri lal mirch

How to Make Dum Aloo, No Onion No Garlic Recipe
For gravy-
Take 2 small chopped tomatoes, small piece of ginger, 1 green chilli, 4 to 5 cashews, pinch of turmeric, 1/2 tspn chilli powder, 1 tspn coriander powder, salt to taste and grind them to make a smooth paste.
Now add 1 tbspn of ground nut oil in a pan and add 1/2 tspn cumin powder, a pinch of hing.
Then after the cumins are crackled add the paste and cook it for about 10 minutes till it releases oil on the sides and then add 1/2 tspn garam masala, 1/4 tspn kasoori methi, 1/4 tspn kashmiri lal mirch and some cream to the gravy.
For potatoes-
Peel 4 potatoes and make a whole in the centre and fry them till they are golden brown.
Let them cool down.
Then grate some paneer and add pinch of salt and lal mirch to it and fill this mixture in the potatoes.
Now you can add the potatoes to the gravy.
Your Dum aloo is ready to serve!
Serve it with chapati or rice as per your taste!
