Ingredients for Dry Ginger Chutney Recipe

  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.13 cup garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tablespoon Peanut
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds / til
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds/ jeera
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon methi / fenugreek seeds
  • 0.13 cup dry coconut
  • 1/2 tablespoon kashmiri red chili powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon amchur / dry mango powder
  • 1/2 pinch hing / asafoetida
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Directions: Dry Ginger Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil and add ¼ cup garlic.
  • STEP 2.Saute on low flame until it turns golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Now add 1 tbsp of peanuts and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add 1 tbsp of sesame seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1 tsp of coriander seeds and ¼ tsp of methi.
  • STEP 5.Saute on low flame, once the spices turn aromatic add ¼ cup of dry coconut and saute well.
  • STEP 6.Cool completely and transfer to the blender.
  • STEP 7.Add 1 tbsp of red chili powder, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp amchur, 1 pinch hing and ½ tsp of salt.
  • STEP 8.Blend to coarse powder without adding water.
  • STEP 9.Dry garlic chutney is ready to enjoy with vada pav or batata vada.
