  • STEP 2.In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat milk and bring it to a boil.

  • STEP 4.Simmer the mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk thickens and the dry fruits are cooked.
  • STEP 5.Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the kheer and mix well.
  • STEP 6.Cook for another 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the flavors are well combined.
  • STEP 7.Remove from heat and let the kheer cool down to room temperature.
