  • 0.67 cup maida
  • 0.67 tbsp Ghee
  • 0.08 cup water
  • 0.33 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 0.33 tbsp • fennel seeds - 1
  • 0.67 tsp White sesame seeds
  • 0.67 tsp Sugar
  • 0.17 cup Gathiya
  • 0.17 cup Fried moong dal
  • 0.17 tsp • turmeric powder- 1
  • 0.67 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.33 As Required Salt
  • 0.67 tsp aram masala - tsp
  • 0.67 tbsp Chopped cashew
  • 0.67 tbsp Chopped raisins
  • 0.33 tsp Sesame seeds
  • 0.67 tbsp Tamarind paste
  • 1.33 As Required Oil for deep frying
  • 0.67 tbsp Coriander seed
  • 0.33 Pinches Hing

Directions: Dry Dal Kachori Recipe

  • STEP 1.In mixing bowl, add maida, salt, and ghee. mix well. Add water gradually and knead a tight and smooth dough.
  • STEP 2.Cover and rest dough for 20-25 minutes.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seed, and white sesame seeds. Roast it slightly.
  • STEP 4.Add roasted ingredient into mixture jar and also add sugar. Grind it into a coarse mixture.
  • STEP 5.In a mixture jar, add fried moong dal and gathiya. Grind it into coarse powder.
  • STEP 6.Now, in a mixing bowl, add gathiya and dal powder, grinded masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing, salt, garam masala, chopped cashews, raisins, sesame seeds, fennel seeds, and tamarind paste. Mix well and form small balls.
  • STEP 7.Knead the dough once again to make it pliable. Cut it into equal parts.
  • STEP 8.Roll into a small disc. Place the stuffing ball and apply some water on the edges. bring the edges together to seal.
  • STEP 9.Remove all the extra dough from the top.
  • STEP 10.Prepare all kachoris in the same way.
  • STEP 11.Heat oil. Add a bit of dough to check if it rises.
  • STEP 12.keep the flame low-medium and Now start adding the kachoris , 5-6 at a time.
  • STEP 13.Fry the kachoris on slow to medium flame stirring often for a even golden color.
  • STEP 14.Remove it in kitchen paper.
  • STEP 15.Let cool to store in an airtight container.
