Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 5.Add drumsticks, potatoes, and water. Cover and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • STEP 6.In a separate pan, heat ghee and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies. Fry until the mustard seeds splutter.
  • STEP 7.Add this tempering to the curry and mix well. Cook for a few more minutes.
