Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak the dried red chillies in warm water for 15 minutes, then grind them into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 2.Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Then, add the ground red chilli paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
  • STEP 6.Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are browned and cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Finally, add garam masala powder and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
