Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and slit the pointed gourds lengthwise, and fry them until golden brown.
  • STEP 2.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, and dry red chilies.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and red chili powder to the pan and saut茅 for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add whisked yogurt, salt, and sugar to the pan and cook until the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 5.Add the fried pointed gourds to the gravy and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
