  • 0.88 Lic Cloves, Minced
  • 1/4 Green Chili, Chopped
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Dill Leaves, Chopped

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the red lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add cumin seeds, garlic, and green chili.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add the soaked lentils, dill leaves, and salt. Mix everything together.
  • STEP 6.Add water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
  • STEP 7.Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and give it a stir.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with rice or roti.
