Ingredients for Diabetic Friendly Green Moong Dal/ Mung Beans Soup Recipe /HARE MOONG KA SOUP Recipe

  • 0.06 cup Green Moong Dal (Whole)/green gram beans soaked 3-4 hours in water
  • 1/4 g Green chilli slit
  • 1/4 teaspoon Roasted Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  • A Pinch asafoetida (hing)
  • a pinch a pinch of ajwain (optional)
  • 1.50 Pieces Whole Black Peppercorns crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Oil or ghee
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric Powder (optional)
  • As Required For Ganishing Coarindar leaves
  • 1/4 Pieces ginger shredded (optional)
  • 3/4 As Required More than 2 cup +1 cup water

How to Make Diabetic Friendly Green Moong Dal/ Mung Beans Soup Recipe /HARE MOONG KA SOUP

STEP 01

To begin making the Green Moong Dal Soup, wash the Green moong dal and soak it in water for 4 hours or overnight.

STEP 02

Next day,drained mung and add it to pressure cooker with salt ,ginger ,2 cup of water as required and cook for 4-5 whistles. Once done, mash it or puree with hand blender or mixer. Sieve with food strainer to get smooth mixture.( optional) .Keep aside.

STEP 03

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds. Once the cumin seeds sizzles, add asafoetida or ajwain(optional) and turmeric powder and saute for a minute.

STEP 04

Now pour the mashed dal along with a cup of water,(to make it thin) required salt, slit green chilli , finely chopped coarindar leaves and crushed pepper.

STEP 05

Mix well and boil in low flame for 5 minutes. Switch off the flame and add lemon juice. Mix it.

STEP 06

Now take it in a serving bowl ,Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve hot. So, here's your Super Healthy Immunity Booster Moong Ka Soup ready!!!!!
