Ingredients for Dhokla Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Split gram
  • 1/2 cup Chana dal
  • 1/2 cup Black lentils
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 No.s Eno packet
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 cup Water

Directions: Dhokla Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl of half a cup of yellow split gram, add half cup chana dal,  and half cup black lentils. Now wash them nicely. Now soak the pulses overnight.
  • STEP 2.The next morning, grind all the soaked pulses finely, add a pinch of turmeric powder, 3 spoon of curd and grind well.
  • STEP 3.Transfer the mixture into a bowl, now add a teaspoon of ginger chilli paste, salt to taste and mix nicely. At the end add a packet of eno powder. Add water as required.
  • STEP 4.Now transfer the mixture into a plate and grease it beforehand. Sprinkle some red chilli powder on.
  • STEP 5.Take a pot and boil some water in it,  now place the plate on top of it and cover and let it steam for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Keep checking the dhokla. Once it's ready cut it into pieces and serves.
