Ingredients for Dhekia Xaak Recipe

  • 300 gram Dhekia xaak
  • 1 cup Black chickpeas
  • 2 No.s Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard oil

Directions: Dhekia Xaak Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut the dhekia xaak into small pieces, preferably using your hands.
  • STEP 2.Soak black chana overnight.
  • STEP 3.Take a pan with fenugreek seeds and oil, add onions when they turn brown, cook until brown.
  • STEP 4.Add dhekia xaak, turmeric and salt. Mix well. Let it cook and add black chickpeas and cook nicely. Cook on a medium flame for 5-6 minutes. Keep stirring.
  • STEP 5.Cook on high flame for 5 minute. The dish is ready. Enjoy with some rice and dal.
