  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Split urad dal
  • 1 teaspoon Chana dal
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 4-5 Red chillies broken
  • 4 teaspoon Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 7-8 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Tamarind soaked
  • 1 tablespoon Jaggery

How to Make Dhaniya (coriander Seeds) Chutney Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, when oil is hot add 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp split urad dal, 1 tsp chana dal, 1 sprig curry leaves, 4 to5 broken red chilies, 4 tsp coriander (dhaniya) seeds.

STEP 02

saute on low heat till seeds are golden brown. Do not burn. Transfer the contents to a small grinder jar. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric (haldi) powder , 1 tsp salt and 7 to 8 cloves of garlic.

STEP 03

Grind once and then add 1 tsp soaked tamarind and 1 tsp jaggery. Add a little water and continue to grind to make a smooth chutney.
