  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cup Coconut Milk
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon roasted curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • 6-7 Cloves Garlic

How to Make Dhal Moju Recipe


1 in a pan take dal, turmeric powder, fenugreek seeds, roasted curry powder, green chilli, garlic, onion, 2 pandan leaves and to this add a cup of water.


2 mix everything well and cook this on a medium flame with a lid on till the dal becomes soft.


3 keep on stirring it every 2-3 minutes and add coconut milk once the dal turns soft.


4 add salt and mix it well. When dal comes to boil turn off the flame.


5 for tempering heat some oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cinnamon, garlic, onion, green chilli, pandan leaves, dried chilli, chilli flakes and roast it till onions turn golden brown.


6 once done add the cooked dal to the pan and give it a nice stir.
