Eggs are one versatile option when it comes for some quick easy tasty bite. Hard boiled eggs that are cut into halves and loaded with some egg yolks that has been mixed mayonnaise, coriander, onion juice, pepper and mustard and at times some seafood like crabs. Tracing back the history of Devilled eggs they can be traced back to Rome where eggs were boiled and then happily seasoned with some kinda sauce. These were served during the beginning of the meal. These creamy eggs yolks being mashed were first seen around 13th century.  In many cultures devilled eggs are also known as “dressed eggs,” “salad eggs,” words “mimosa eggs,” and more. For the binder in place of Mayonnaise at times plain yogurt or sour cream is also used. This popular picnic snack that makes for a great appetizer is absolutely delicious.

Ingredients for Deviled Eggs With Crab Recipe

  • 12 hard boiled large eggs
  • 1 can crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.12 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 3 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • As required Additional minced fresh parsley, optional

Directions: Deviled Eggs With Crab Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Hard boil the eggs and cut them into halves.
  • STEP 2.Remove the yolk and keep them aside.
  • STEP 3.Mix the yolk with all ingredients and mash them well.
  • STEP 4.Not spoon the mix on in the egg white halves and top it with some crabs sticks.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Remove yolks, reserving whites. In a bowl, mash yolks.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Stir in all remaining ingredients.

step 4

  • STEP 3.Spoon or pipe into egg whites.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Refrigerate, covered, until serving.

step 6

  • STEP 5.If desired, sprinkle with parsley.
