Ingredients for Devda Recipe

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 pinch Cooking soda
  • 4 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water

Directions: Devda Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a cup of all flour in a bowl,  add a pinch of cooking soda and 4 tablespoon of ghee and mix well. Add water and knead a dough.
  • STEP 2.Take small portions of the dough, and prepare small balls using your hands. Now poke the balls with the help of a fork. Keep aside.
  • STEP 3.Take a pan, add some oil, add the devda and cook on slow flame. Cook on both sides. Cook until it changes color. Transfer in a plate.
  • STEP 4.Take a boiler and add a cup of sugar, add around half a cup of water. Now cook the mixture. Make sugar syrup. Make thick syrup to make it tastier.
  • STEP 5.Now when syrup is ready dip the devdas into the syrup and keep aside for half an hour. After the given time the dish is ready.
