Ingredients for Deep Fried Crispy Squid Recipe

  • 6 No.s Medium squid
  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • 2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon Salt

    • STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl place 1 cup plain flour, 2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp ground black pepper, 1 tsp dried parsley, 2 tsp salt and mix well.

      • STEP 2.2 to this add 6 medium size squid cut into 1 inch thick rings. Mix well to evenly coat the rings.

      • STEP 3.3 in a wok heat 1 ltr oil over medium heat. Shake off any excess flour from each ring and then add them to the hot oil one at a time.

      • STEP 4.4 deep fry for 2 to 4 minutes but not longer.

      step 7

      • STEP 5.5 remove the rings from the oil and drain.

      step 8

      • STEP 6.6 arrange in a serving plate and serve with sweet chilli sauce.
