Ingredients for Deep Fried Crispy Prawn Wontons Recipe

  • 500 No.s Raw prawns
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour
  • 2 No.s Spring onion
  • 1 No.s Egg white
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ground white pepper
  • 100 No.s Wonton skins

Directions: Deep Fried Crispy Prawn Wontons Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a mixing bowl add 500 gm finely chopped raw prawns, 2 finely chopped spring onions, 1 egg white, 1 tsp ground white pepper, 1 tbsp cornflour, salt to taste and mix the ingredients well to form a paste.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 slice the wonton skins into thin strips, place them in a bowl and toss to separate them.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 take 1 tbsp of the prawn paste and roll it over the bed of wonton skins. Ensure that the balls are evenly coated.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 in a wok heat oil for deep frying, place the prawn balls gently into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 remove from hot oil and drain.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 arrange on a serving plate and serve with sweet chilli sauce.
