Dambun Nama is a traditionally spiced,cooked,pounded,shredded and dried Nigerian meat floss product is made using beef,goat meat,mutton or camel meat. Prepared with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers this is a dish that consista of flavourful spices that gives it a nice aroma and a punch of taste that kicks in your mouth with the very first bite.

Ingredients for Dambu Nama Recipe

  • 3 pound Beef
  • 1 Nos medium size diced red bell pepper
  • 1 Nos medium sized diced Tomato
  • 1 Nos large Red bell pepper
  • 1 Nos large onion
  • 2 Nos stock cubes
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 cup suya spice seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon hot chilli pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger powder
  • 1.50 cup 2 Water
  • 6-10 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Dambu Nama Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Cut meat into pieces, wash it, Chop bell peppers,onions and tomatoes.

step 3

  • STEP 1.in a cooking pot add meat followed by bell peppers,onions and tomatoes and add seasoning cubes,salt as per taste then add enough water to boil the meat.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Cook it until the water is dried up

step 6

  • STEP 1.Now tear the meat with a fork and place the meat in a blender with a peddle and mince it at low speed

step 8

  • STEP 1. Now add suya spice,hot chilli pepper,ginger powder and stock cube and mix all the ingredients well

step 10

  • STEP 1.In a frying pan add 2 tbsp oil and add the beef mixture and start frying for a minute or two

step 12

  • STEP 1. Serve it with salad or rice.
