  • 2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 5-6 No.s curry leaves
  • 2 green Chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger
  • 8-10 No.s Cashews
  • 1/2 No.s Onion
  • 1/2 cup Carrot
  • 1/2 cup Potato
  • 1/2 cup french beans
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon dhaniya powder
  • 1 cup daliya
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas

How to Make Daliya Upma Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

Take some oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, cashews and saute it for 2 minutes.

Add onions to the pan and saute them for 2-3 minutes.

STEP 01

Now to this add carrot, potato, french beans, salt, turmeric powder, red chillies and dhaniya powder.

Saute this mixture for 2 minutes and then cover and cook for around 5 minutes.

STEP 01

Take a cup of daliya and roast for 5 minutes.

STEP 01

Pour some water in pan and stir well.

STEP 01

Add lemon juice, garam masala and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Add the frozen peas in this and mix well.
