  • 1 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine cracked wheat, whole wheat flour, chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a round paratha.
  • STEP 4.Heat a tawa or griddle and cook the paratha on medium heat until golden brown spots appear on both sides.
  • STEP 5.Apply ghee or oil on both sides of the paratha while cooking to make it crispy.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.

Cooking Tips

  • You can add grated vegetables like carrots or spinach to the dough for added nutrition.
  • Make sure to roll the parathas evenly to ensure even cooking.
  • If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If it is too sticky, add a little more flour.

Storage and Serving

  • Daliya parathas can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
