STEP 1.mix both dal and wash it and soak the dal with water for half an hour
STEP 2.add 1/2 tbs ghee in pressure cooker and roast the Dal at least 2 minutes now add water and cook with haldi powder ,green Chilli chopped(1) ,ginger and 1/4 spoon salt and give 2-3 whistles in low flame.
STEP 3.now take a pan put ghee and add cumin seeds then add chopped garlic fry golden colour then add chopped green chilli, then add chopped onion fry it for some time then add tomato fry it well add red chilli powder fry well till it mushy then add coriander powder , garam masala powder fry it add dal allow to boil then switch off the flame garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
STEP 4.now put tadka pan on gas add ghee, cumin seeds crackle and then add chopped garlic golden fry add red chili powder and switch of the flame add this tadka on Dal mix it well My Punjabi dal Tadka is ready to serve.
