  • As required Ingredients for paniya
  • 2 cup Corn flour
  • 1.50 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Partially ground whole coriander and fennel seeds
  • 7-8 No.s Leaves of giant calotropeof same lengths
  • 1 cup Milk
  • As required Ingredients for Dal
  • 1 Urad/toor dal bowl
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 Peas bowl
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 1 pinch Hing
  • piece Cut a tomato
  • 2 Chopped green chillies

  • STEP 1.Preparation directions for paniya

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl and pour the corn flour into it.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add milk and mix it thoroughly.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add some water accordingly and make a dough of it and keep it for 5 mins.

  • STEP 1.Now take a leaf of giant calotrope in your hand and place a small amount of dough on the outer surface of the leaf.

  • STEP 1.Take another leaf and cover the spread dough with the outer surface facing the dough and press it gently.

  • STEP 1.As per the dough available repeat the process and make several paniyas of it.

  • STEP 1.Wash dal 2-3 times. Add 1 cup of water. Add salt , hing ,turmeric.

  • STEP 1.Add cut pieces of tomato . Now boil it in cooker pressure.

  • STEP 1.now heat the paniyas in an oven/microwave until it seems cooked.

  • STEP 1.wait until the leaves appear bent or distorted, which will ensure that paniyas are cooked properly.

  • STEP 1.add 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds . Add jeera seeds.

  • STEP 1.add curry leaves . Add chopped green chilies. Add half bowl of peas. Now add 1 tsp red chilies.

  • STEP 1.now add some water and boil it for some times. Now serve hot along with paniyas.
