- 0.06 cup Tuvar dal
- 0.06 cup Chana dal
- 0.06 cup masoor dal
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 tablespoon Ghee
- 1/2 tablespoon Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 pieces Cloves
- 1/4 Inch Small piece of cinnamon
- 1/2 Pieces Dry red chili
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed garlic
- 0.13 teaspoon crushed green chilies
- 1/4 Pieces Finely chopped onion
- 1/4 Pieces Finely chopped tomato
- 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/4 tablespoon Chopped coriander leaves

How to Make Dal Khichdi Recipe
STEP 01
1) Wash and soak rice, tuvar dal, chana dal and masoor dal together for 30 minutes.
STEP 02
2) pressure cook rice and dal mixture along with salt, turmeric powder, ghee and approximately 3 cuos water.
STEP 03
3) In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. When crackles add cloves, cinnamon stick and dry red chilies.
STEP 04
4) Add crushed garlic and green chilies. Saute for sometimes. Add chopped onion and tomato. Saute until tomatoes tenders.
STEP 05
5) Add red chili powder, garam masala powder and 1 cup water.
STEP 06
6) When water comes to boil add cooked dal rice mixture and stir gently. Adjust salt. Add more water if required to get your consistency.
STEP 07
7) Cook until get desired consistency. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Nutritious and delicious dal khichdi is ready to serve

8) Serve with curd, achar and rice papad.
