Ingredients for Dal Kabab Recipe

  • 250 gram Split Bengal gram soaked
  • 1/4 teaspoon Caraway seed powder
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • As required Oil to deep fry
  • 1/2 piece Ginger chopped
  • 2 No.s Green chillies chopped
  • 1 No.s Onion Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Gram flour

Directions: Dal Kabab Recipe

  • STEP 1.Drain dal and put half of it into a mixer jar and grind coarsely without any water. Transfer into a glass bowl.
  • STEP 2.Grind the remaining dal a little more finely and transfer into the same bowl.
  • STEP 3.Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  • STEP 4.Add salt, caraway seeds, ginger, green chillies, onion, crushed red chillies and coriander leaves and mix well with hand.
  • STEP 5.Add gram flour and mix again.
  • STEP 6.Dampen your fingers and take small portions of the mixture, flatten slightly and slide into hot oil.
  • STEP 7.Deep fry on medium heat till half done.
  • STEP 8.Deep fry once again just before serving.
  • STEP 9.Serve hot with a chutney.
